2003 Founding Member of NIATx (Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment) a national initiative supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Paths to Recovery program and the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment’s Strengthening Treatment Access and Retention. 2006 became a peer mentor and presenter for the State of Wisconsin STAR-SI Project (Strengthening Treatment Access and Retention-State Implementation).

2007: Kewaunee County Human Services presented the Jackie Nitschke Center with a Commendation Award for outstanding customer service for 2006.
